FBI: Most Wanted has added Alexa Davalos to the crime drama‘s main cast for its upcoming season 3.
Davalos will be a series regular on the CBS show; she fills the spot left by Nathaniel Arcand, who announced his departure on Instagram. Arcand’s character Clinton Skye had already been absent from a large portion of season 2.
Per Deadline Hollywood, which first reported the story, Davalos will be a new agent on the FBI task force—but no other details, including a name, have been given out about her character.
The actress is still well-known for her role as Gwen Raiden in three episodes of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer spinoff Angel a decade ago; her most recent series regular role was in Amazon’s The Man in the High Castle as Juliana Crain, the female protagonist. She was one of the few main characters to remain on the alternate history drama for all four seasons from 2015-2019.
FBI: Most Wanted will be Alexa Davalos’ first procedural, though she did appear in TNT’s period crime drama Mob City as Jasmine Fontaine, a photographer at mobster Mickey Cohen’s nightclub and LAPD detective Joe Teague’s (Jon Bernthal) ex-wife.
